Brisbane’s favourite handmade designers and artists are excited to once again gather at Southbank this May to satisfy all of your sustainable handmade shopping needs. Visit the Queensland Museum, Whale Mall on Saturday May 15th from 9am to 3pm and enjoy the best Brisbane’s cultural community has to offer at the BrisStyle Handmade Markets.
Located in the stunning setting graced by the overhead Whale Sculptures over 70 local artisans will set up shop, make a day of it with the family in the surrounds of Brisbane River and explore the Southbank Cultural Prescient. Grab a bite to eat from the onsite café while enjoying the best in local live entertainment.

Disability Access: The Queensland Museum and Surrounds is a fully accessible site
ATM / Cash Facilities: Whilst many stallholders will be accepting card based transactions, we recommend you also bring cash to avoid disappointment. There are several ATM’s nearby.
Toilets: The closest public toilets to the event are located outside the State Library in the Knowledge walk.
GETTING TO THE MUSEUM:
Queensland Museum South Bank is located on the corner of Grey and Melbourne Streets, within the South Bank Cultural Precinct.
By bus - Set down in Grey Street outside ENERGEX Playasaurus Place, Stanley Street Tunnel or Stanley Place.
Due to Brisbane City Council Brisbane Metro South Brisbane construction work, the bus lay-up area will be temporarily located along Montague Road from 26 June – Early 2021.
By train - Get off at South Brisbane station and cross the road at the Grey and Melbourne Streets intersection.
By car - There is a public car park car park directly below the Museum. Enter via the Stanley Street tunnel or Grey Street. The car park is pay on entry, and accepts card payment only.
