My life has changed direction a few times. When I was a kid, I wanted to marry Astroboy. When I graduated from University, I became a high school physics teacher who moonlighted as a sculptor and went to SciFi conventions. Then, I started dabbling in silversmithing and occasionally moonlighting as a physics teacher. Now, I spend my days creating high quality accessories for discerning nerds using precious metals and enamel and embracing the influences of classic sci-fi, Art Deco, Art Nouveau and popular science. That said, I am always excited by commission work where I get to make another person’s vision a reality using my varied skill base. So while Astroboy is still single as far as I know, I think it’s fair to say that I’ve moved on.
