Judie Bellingham - Sisters of Stitch

Judie saw a need to bring people together to share their craft skills and talk over a cup of coffee and something home baked as well. Sisters of Stitch started three years ago and they meet twice a month at the Chermside Library. “We don’t hold classes as such, but if any member wants to learn a particular skill, we never have a shortage of experienced crafters who are willing to help.” Judie has been quilting for decades and describes her craft this way: “I buy perfectly good fabric, cut it into little pieces and then painstakingly sew it back together again, to make a quilt.”
