Evelyn Curtis was established by Brisbane based designer Lexi Wittke in late 2010 and has been growing ever since. The brand focuses on luxury materials, feminine finishes and unique design. Evelyn Curtis gained exposure after being featured in fashion shows across Brisbane, including Turpentine, Mirror Mirror, Threaded and Obsession as well as being featured in publications such as ProtoTYPE magazine, Village News, City News, MX, North West News and U on Sunday.
Evelyn Curtis has delved into lingerie, accessories, sleepwear and corporate cocktail, but is now focussing on cocktail, street wear and accessories. The cocktail range focuses on unique styling with each dress a unique and one off piece. The street wear comes in a range of sizes and often incorporates vintage or recycled materials, offering the wearer a unique take on contemporary fashion.
All garments are handmade in Lexi’s Brisbane studio. Lexi loves to use Satin, Lace, Cotton, Chiffon and Organza in her street wear and cocktail collections, and loves to use ribbons, buttons and rhinestones for touches of detail and luxury.
Lexi also writes a fashion blog called Take off My Dress and is the Founder and Director of Obsession Events, a Brisbane based Fashion Events Company.
